Welcome to our holiday home
We're the owners, Gary and Sarah and we fell in love with Newbiggin by the Sea a long time ago. We're delighted to be able to share our holiday home and would love to welcome you to The Elderton very soon.
We've tried to create a modern, cosy and inviting space and we are sure that you'll enjoy it just as much as we do. Newbiggin is a friendly and bustling village and has one of Northumberland's most beautiful coastlines. Teeming with wildlife, it would be a surprise if you didn't spot some dolphins in the bay while you're here.
Newly Refurbished
Our spacious 3-bed holiday home provides flexible space for families, groups or couples looking for a stylish home from home in the heart of this bustling coastal village.
Spread over two floors, there are two large double bedrooms and one single, offering a king sized bed, a double (sofa bed) and two singles. We also offer a cot bed as well as a folding trundle bed suitable for under 12s, both available on request.

Fully Equipped
As you enter the house, you'll find the living room, family room, WC and kitchen on the ground floor, then head to the first floor and you'll find the three bedrooms and the modern family bathroom.
There is ample room for all our guests to relax, eat and sleep comfortably and the kitchen is well equipped for those who like to cook and dine at home. With plenty of local shops within easy reach, you won't find stocking the fridge hard, and the Welcome Pack we provide for you will offer a few little treats to enjoy at the end of your journey. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, and we have a large, 4k Smart TV you can use to log-in to your favourite subscription service.
Dog Friendly
We allow a maximum of two dogs to join you at The Elderton, but we ask that they are not left unaccompanied in the house and that you do your best to keep them off the sofas and beds. We provide plenty of throws, as well as a welcome pack for your four-legged friend.
Our cleaners do charge us an additional £20 fee which we pass on to you, when you add dogs to your booking.
Other Things To Note
On-street parking on Simonside Terrace is plentiful and free, but there are some streets in Newbiggin that are permit parking, for resident's only. All the public car parks in the village are completely free to use.
