Sleeping 6, our spacious newly refurbished, three bedroom holiday home is the perfect setting for those who want to explore the beautiful Northumbrian coastline and all the surrounding area has to offer, or to just rest and relax by the sea.  

A dog friendly home, ideal for families, couples, walkers and those who can't resist the sand between their toes.

The Elderton is just a few minutes walk from the bay teeming with marine wildlife, the peaceful beach known for its glowing sunrises and fiery sunsets, and Sean Henry's intriguing Couple sculpture that sits out at sea.

Newbiggin is a quaint, bustling fishing village, with an array of award-winning beaches, independent cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as being within easy drive of the town centre attractions of Morpeth, Whitley Bay, Blyth and Tynemouth. 

The location is perfect for exploring the wider Northumberland region where you can visit Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne, Alnmouth, Craster or Warkworth or go walking in the beautiful Cheviot Hills.

Local Amenities

With an array of shops, pubs, cafes and even an ice-cream parlour, for a small village, Newbiggin packs a punch.  Don't forget to walk North along the beach or prom to the Maritime Museum...the view of the bay from the cafe is spectacular!

Newbiggin is well served by public transport, so when you want a day trip, there is easy access West into Morpeth, South to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Newcastle city centre, or North to Alnwick.  The bus stop is located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the house.  

There is a Co-Op and a local convenience store within easy walk of the house, as well as a large Asda, Aldi and Lidl within a ten minute drive. 

The beach and town centre are all within 5 minutes’ walk, so if you don't fancy travelling far, everything you need is at your fingertips.
